Obituary

Jerry N. (Jeb) Steele, 72, of Homosassa, Florida, formerly of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020. He was born on December 25, 1947 in Batesville, Indiana, son of Bud and Winnie (Anderson) Steele. Jeb served his country proudly and honorably in the United States Army including duty at an MP in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Keith Ross Post 231, Aurora, Indiana where he had served as commander. He is survived by a brother, Vic (Mary Kay) Steele of Louden, IN; sister, Sally McMullen of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; sister, Dodie Hurley of Jesup, GA and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Steele, mother, Winnie Steele, and a brother, Jon Steele.
