On September 21, 2018, Rex Matthews, age 75, of White Hall, son of the late Walter Matthews and Elizabeth Jane Bowden; devoted father of Benjamin R. Matthews and his wife Elizabeth Jones, Jessica Hopkins and her husband Eric, and William C. Matthews; dear brother of Gary Russell, Edward Andrews, Robert and Richard Andrezeywski; loving grandfather of Esther, Asa, Emmett and Clara Jean.

Family and friends will celebrate Rex’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. – Hereford), on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 from 2-3PM at which time a memorial service will begin at 3PM.
