Donald W. Clover Sr., 212th 65-66

Donald Wayne Clover Sr., age 77 of Jonesboro, died Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the St. Francis Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Lieman Elmer and Velma Pauline (Coplin) Clover. Donald is survived by his children, Donald W. Clover Jr. of Jonesboro, April Eskw of Jonesboro, Sheila Elaine Bass of Fruitland, MO, Melissa Hope Davis of Troy, and Bradley Dale Clover of Jonesboro; sixteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Dean Clover of Jonesboro and Delbert George Clover of Balcom; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Lee Gibson, Owleen Cook and Charlotte Burton. Donald was a truck driver for various trucking companies for over forty years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a Mason for many years. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Blake Tillman officiating. Interment will be in the Valley Mission Cemetery in Jonesboro. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honor Team of Marion.
