Charles D. Dickerson, 981st 69-70

Charles D. Dickerson passed away July 28, 2014 surrounded by family. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War in the 18th Military Police Brigade as well as the 212 MP Sentry Dog Unit. His life was filled with machine and custodial work and was just mere weeks from retiring from King Middle School after 19 years of service. His personal life was filled with wood, bead and leather work, visits to Myakka State park, and fishing with his grand kids. He was a Religious man and will join his parents George And Nina Dickerson in heaven. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen Dickerson His children Randy Dickerson and spouse Candy Dickerson, April Jonatzke and spouse Andy Jonatzke. 3 grand-children: Alex Dickerson, Hayden Dickerson and Hailey Jonatzke.
