IVEY, Mr. Benjamin Arthur, 76, U.S. Army Retired, a longtime resident of Union Springs, AL passed away, Sa-turday, December 27, 2003. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2004 at 12:00 noon from the Waymon chapel AME Church, Rev. J.C. Porham, Pastor will offici-ate. Interment with full Military ho-nors will follow in the Ft. Mitchell Na-tional Cemetery. The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home will direct all services. Mr. Ivey will lie in state at the church from 11 am until the funeral hour.
